Big Screen T&C’s

Applicable Terms and Conditions of quotation, supply and payment:

• Subject to provision of suitable power to be provided by the client.
• Suitable, safe and accessible ground, stage or trailer platforms for screen construction.
• Ample access and room to operate a cherry picker during screen construction.
• All orders cancelled within 5 days incur full rental charges. All other cancellations prior to this period incur 50% of rental charges.
• Excludes production related services unless requested.
• Orders cancelled within 5 working days of event incur 100% of contract value as cancellation fee.
• Goods availability subject to change without notice prior to confirmation of orders.
• Costs of damage or loss of goods during rental will be charged to the customer in full.
• Credit Card payments over $2,000 incur a 2.75% surcharge.
• Client orders require either; Official Purchase Order, signed acceptance of quotation or written confirmation.
• COD'S orders require a minimum 20% Deposit.
• Orders cancelled within 24 hours incur full rental charges.
• All other terms and conditions apply as detailed under Rentals and Rental Purchase Plans, terms and conditions.

Rental Hire T&C’s

Applicable Terms and Conditions of quotation, supply and payment pertinent to Rentals and Rental Purchase Plans:

• Equipment remains the property of CDM Rental & CDM Optel.
• All orders cancelled within 5 days incur full rental charges. All other cancellations prior to this period incur 50% of rental charges.
• Equipment is covered by manufacturer’s warranty, or the equivalent by CDM Optel and CDM Rental.
• Separate on-site maintenance agreement may be negotiated if required.
• No unauthorised maintenance or adjustment of the equipment is permitted.
• All-risks insurance to the full value of the equipment, acknowledging the beneficial interest of CDM Rentals and CDM Optel, is the responsibility of the Client.
• It is the Client’s responsibility to return the equipment on the due date at client’s expense, unless agreed otherwise. In the event of damage or misuse, the client will be liable for restoration cost up to the full retail replacement value.
• In the event of early return of the equipment, the client will be charged for the agreed full rental period, unless otherwise negotiated with and accepted by CDM Rentals and CDM Optel prior to client returning the equipment.
• A bond of will be paid by the client in advance of the rental transaction, to be refunded when the equipment is returned and all other relative commitments met.
• The rented equipment will not be moved to any other location without the prior approval of CDM Rentals and CDM Optel. (This does not apply to mobile computer equipment)
• CDM Rentals and CDM Optel, or any of its representatives, will have access to the rented equipment at any reasonable time for the purpose of inspection, service or collection.
• It is acknowledged that rental installments are to be paid according to the agreed period, in advance. Failure to do so will allow the goods to be repossessed by CDM Rentals and CDM Optel.
• Expenses incurred in recovering equipment, outstanding monies and making good damaged equipment will be met by the Client.
• Client purchase orders are binding on this Rental Agreement.
• In the event of failure by the Client to meet the rental conditions in full, CDM Rentals and CDM Optel is hereby authorised to resume possession of the Rental Equipment.
• CDM Rentals and CDM Optel may terminate the renting at the expiry of any invoiced term during the term of renting without previous notice to the client.
• The cost of all consumables is the Client’s responsibility.
• The equipment shall not be on sold or disposed of without prior written consent.
